A daytime look starts with what you're planning and what you like to wear. Choose a color or silhouette as a base and build from there. These examples from the NXT.SCNE collection allow you to compare and create your own combination.
Soft yellow as a starting point
The Yellow Maxi Dress features short sleeves, gold-colored buttons, and a long, pleated skirt. The dropped waist gives the bodice a longer line.
Combine with cream-colored sandals and a plain bag for a lunch or a daytime appointment. Small gold-colored jewelry matches the buttons. Also, check out the back: there you can see the transition to the skirt and the pleat distribution.
White with a personal touch
The White Midi Dress has wide straps, a flared skirt, and vertical details in the same white shade. This calm color palette offers you various possibilities for accessories.
Light shoes extend the white into the rest of the combination. With black shoes or a dark bag, you add contrast. If you want to wear your own jacket with it, compare the length of that jacket with the waist and skirt of the dress.
Brown or navy blue with short sleeves
The Brown Maxi Dress and Blue Maxi Dress combine short sleeves, buttons, and a long bodice with a ruffled skirt. The visible pattern lines also run across the back.
For brown, you can try beige or dark brown accessories. Navy blue combines with dark shoes or a light bag. Start with two colors and then see if you want to add an accent.
A shorter silhouette for daytime
The Sleeveless Mini Dress has a beige-brown pattern, wide straps, and a full short skirt. The light hem is a useful starting point for the color of your shoes.
Try flat shoes and a small plain bag. Also, view the dress from the back, where the smock detail in the bodice is visible. The accessories mentioned here are ideas for you to combine yourself.
