Who we are
MA Commerce B.V., trading under the store name NXT.SCNE, is responsible for the personal data we process for our store, orders and customer contact. You can reach us at info@nxt.scne.nl. Our business and correspondence address is Aalsmeerderweg 239-K, 1432 CM Aalsmeer, The Netherlands. Return parcels go to NXT.SCNE, Gele Ring 46, 1567 GH Assendelft, The Netherlands.
What data we use and why
When you place an order, we use your name, contact details, delivery and billing addresses, ordered items and payment and transaction data to fulfil and deliver your order and handle any returns. The legal basis is performance of the contract. Payment data is processed through the payment environment and the payment service providers used there.
If you ask a question or send a collaboration proposal, we use the information in your message to reply and handle your request. We do so in preparation for or in performance of a contract, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries carefully. Send only the information needed for that purpose.
We use technical data, such as your IP address and device, browser and usage information, to operate and secure the online store and prevent fraud. Where consent is required, we request it in advance. For our records and valid requests from competent authorities, we process data on the basis of legal obligations.
Shopify and other recipients
Our online store runs on Shopify. Shopify processes data for hosting, the store, checkout, security and the features you use. Shopify may act as an independent controller for certain services of its own. Find out more in Shopify’s privacy policy and Shopify’s privacy portal.
For delivery, we share necessary delivery details with PostNL and the delivery partners involved. Payment, email, IT and administration service providers may also process data for their work. We limit this to what is necessary. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Cookies and marketing
The online store uses necessary cookies and similar technologies, for example to operate your shopping cart, session and security. We use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies only with consent where required by law. You can change your choices through the store’s cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
For marketing messages, we comply with applicable consent requirements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option in a marketing message or by emailing us. Messages necessary for your order are separate from marketing.
Instagram, TikTok and external websites
Our website contains links to Instagram and TikTok. When you open them or contact us there, these platforms also process data under their own privacy policies. Do not share payment details or other sensitive information through social media.
Retention, security and processing outside the EEA
We retain data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We retain order and invoice data for as long as statutory record-keeping obligations require. We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, collaboration, order or any complaint. Data needed for an ongoing dispute may be retained longer. Afterwards, we delete or anonymise it where possible.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data. Service providers such as Shopify may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, recognised safeguards are used, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your privacy rights
You can ask us for access to, correction, erasure, restriction or transfer of your personal data. You can also object to processing based on a legitimate interest and withdraw consent. Statutory exceptions may apply to these rights. Email your request to info@nxt.scne.nl. We normally respond within one month; if an extension is necessary, we explain it. We may request additional information to verify your identity carefully.
Do you have a complaint about the use of your data? Contact us. You may also complain directly to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the competent data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If our services or data processing change, we update this policy. The date at the top shows when the text was last updated.
