A second look helps you better understand a design. See how the front and back connect and which details are repeated in the top and the skirt. This guide helps you look purposefully and ask a clear product question.
View an item from multiple angles
Start with the full front. Look at the proportion between the neckline, waist, and hem. Then open the back and use the link to view the image larger. This allows you to pay attention to details that are less clear in a small photo.
- First, look at the silhouette as a whole.
- Compare the neckline and shoulder straps or sleeves.
- Follow the transition from the top to the skirt.
- See where a pattern, border, or detail is repeated on the back.
Three details to look out for
Straps and back
The Open Back Maxi Dress has a halter neck and narrow straps on the back. On the Sleeveless Mini Dress, you see wide straps and a smock detail on the back. These photo angles help you understand what the top looks like.
Sleeves and cuffs
The Blue Luxe Maxi Dress has long sleeves with cuffs. The Blue Two-Piece Set has a cardigan with three-quarter sleeves. Compare the sleeve shape with the rest of the silhouette.
Pattern and texture
See how flowers, stripes, buttons, and borders are distributed over a design. For the composition of the garment, use the information on the label. The photos help you assess the visible shape, color, and details.
Read the care label before cleaning
Check the instructions for washing, drying, ironing, and any cleaning on your item's label. Follow both the symbols and the written instructions. Do not choose a treatment based solely on the color or appearance in a photo: that does not tell you the composition and care instructions.
Is a symbol not clearly legible or is information you need missing? Take a sharp photo of the entire label and note which step is unclear. With that, you can ask a specific question below before proceeding.
A detail or label is unclear
Email the name of the item and describe your question. If it concerns a received garment, you can include a photo of the detail or label. If you have an existing order, please also include your order number.
